abc christmas R - christmas challenge sketch #8

This is my card for:


Christmas Challenges Sketch #8 I folded my card in the center to accentuate the sketch

Recycling: Used cardboard cut with my sizzix scalloped frame

A beaded poinsetta that I bought at an estate sale in Fla

Ribbon: Christmas red from my stash with a pretty gold edge

Rhinestones: adorn the inside edge of my cardboard frame

red rhinestones to accent the lower left edge

The housemouse image is colored with my copics

With school starting this should be a picture of my grandson....lolI colored the image with my copics.


I used my MS punch around the corner bugs for the first layer.


The puppy dog paw ribbon is from my stash.


And the POW WHAM paper is from All About boys stack.

This is my card for


Girl with Attitude and StyleI used my new SU Elegant Lines Embossing Folder for my Cuttlebug.

I used Lots of Bling from my stash.... cuz ya can't be a diva without bling!!!

Emerson stamp colored with my copic markers.

Listen Honey - The Dress is by Ralph Lauren.

The Body by Chocolate Chip!

having just got thru a 180 pound weight loss...

I appreciate the parts of my body that are still

compliments of chocolate chips!!!!!

Opus-gluei challenge 112 Rose-y thoughts - Card patterns CP 130

These are two cards for two challenges:

I couldn't decide which one I liked best so here are both of them for your enjoyment!


Card Patterns - CP130 - sketchI used my cuttlebug embossing folder swiss dots and the XOs.

I used my MS punch round the corner for the squares of the sketch.

I also used the same edge punch to make the paper ribbon.
I used my favorite rose stamp that I colored with my copic markers.

Golden bling is from my stash.

This is using the rest of the cuttlebug cutouts and

another punch round the corner punch for the squares

Beautiful yellow rose colored with my copic markers.

When I was going thru school I worked in a flower shop.

One of my jobs was to de-thorn the roses!!!

The yellow roses smelled sooooo sweet but had the wickedest thorns!!!!

This is my card for two challenges:

My cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder

An OLD edge punch with snowflakes made the paper ribbon

My expression cartridge Joys of the Season did the Merry Christmas.

Some MS snowflake punches and some golden bling finish off my card.

Winter Wonderland Challenge - Trim a Tree

This is my card:


Make a card with a Christmas tree being trimmed or already trimmed.I love this little stamp with the bunnies trimming their 40 carrot tree...lol

I used my MS punch round the corner punch to make the lacey background.

The background paper looked like it had carrots on it from my stash.

Jingle Belles Rock JB35 Midas TouchWe are challenged to use gold and silver and white and cream.

I used MS Golden Woodland Paper Pack that I've had in my stash forever.

I used my MS edge punch to make the paper ribbon.

The golden ribbon has a holographic part to it.


There is no glitter but it does sparkle!!!!

Christmas Card Challenges Week #38 GLITTER!

This is my card for

Christmas Card Challenges Week 38 GLITTER!!! I used clear acrylic for the Card Base.

I used white stazon with SU snowflakes for the snow on the card

and for the main snowflake.

I added bling and glitter to the main snowflake.

The accent colors and ribbon are from my stash.

The inside says Be MerryJudy Ford

Betty Bee's Swarm Garage Sale

I used my copic markers to color this fall wreath.

I used some fall colors from SU retired cardstock.

Two embossing folders from my Cuttlebug - Swiss dots and circles

This is an easel card. I'm using it for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge CHNC 34


Christmas Birthday or anything goesI used an santa and two children embellishment from a prize package from Opus Gluei


The christmas background paper is from my stash


I used my MS cupcake edge punch to mirror the image.


My cupcake housemouse image is colored with my copics.


Look closely.... there are 3 colors of yellow in the flame....


not too close you'll burn your nose! ROTFLMBO!


I used my cuttlebug birthday embossing folder and then


used my SU top note sizzix die to cut out the shape.


The Happy Birthday is an ancient foam stamp from the early, early days!

I used Mind's Eye winter wonderland paper

that I won from Opus-Gluei!

My precious moments teddy boy was colored with my copic markers

CAS-ual Fridays Embossing - Bah-Humbug-Christmas Something New

This is the card I did for two challenges this week:


Bah-humbug-Christmas Challenge 33 - Something New...I used two embossing folders with my Cuttlebug.

The technique is called Texture Duet

which I learned from my friend and SU demonstrator


You put half the cardstock in one folder and half the cardstock in another folder.

Run them thru your Cuttlebug or Big Shot at the same time.

Tadah! Texture Duet!!!

I used a fuzzy sparkly pink ribbon from my stash.

A Small housemouse gift giver was colored with my copics.

The Grey metallic cardstock matches my housemouse fur!

A girl has to co-ordinate!!!

This is my card for two challenges that are working together this week:

Clean and simple stamping provides the sketch.

For Jingle Belles Lauren I did GLITTER!!!

I used my poinsetta Noel Housemouse stamp that I colored with my copic markers.

I used my cuttlebug lattice embossing folder for the background

and one of my OLD edge punches for the pink edging.

For Lauren, well for me too, I added a glitter papercircle and

diamond glitter at the lattice intersections... SPARKLY!!!!

This is my card for

Christmas Stamping All Year Long - Non-Traditional Christmas Colors.I used my mom's favorite color combination - pink and grey(silver).

My mind went back to long ago Christmas when we had a

new Silver Tinsel Tree! Remember those????

I used my housemouse angel stamp and colored with my copic markers.

Then I used an embossing pen and silver tinsel embossing powder

to make my silver shiny tree....

Diamond glitter for their pink wings

and sparkly fluffy ribbon from my stash.

My MS corner punch finish off the layers.
